Leaf Deflector Gutter Guards manufactures a residential gutter guard and warrants the material; in areas with normal weather conditions, Leaf Deflector will not rust or separate when installed correctly. Leaf Deflector gutter guards are fabricated from aluminum and a stainless-steel screen. Leaf Deflector is a brand name owned by Artesian Home Products in Loomis, CA.
Leaf Deflector Gutter Guard’s Product Warranty
Leaf Deflector Gutter Guard warrants a 45-year warranty from the original date of purchase, when installed in accordance with our specifications, that Leaf Deflector is free from defects in material and workmanship in the course of manufacture under conditions of natural wear and tear. This warranty is limited to the terms and conditions, exclusions and limitations, requirements and legal rights stated in this warranty. This warranty covers only genuine Leaf Deflector Gutter Guard’s products with installation procedure DGG-R5.
Conditions
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation on incidental or consequential damages and some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, thus the above limitation may not apply to you. The obligation under this warranty will in no event exceed the purchase price of the originally installed product found to be defective. In the event we choose to replace the gutter guard, we will only be responsible for providing material and not the cost of labor to install or shipping costs.
There are no other warranties on Leaf Deflector products other than set forth in this warranty. We are not liable to you for a breach of any other written or oral express warranties, such as any given to you by installers, dealers, contractors, applicators, or distributors of Leaf Deflector Gutter Guards. Effective January 1, 2026.
Due to normal weathering, replacement product may differ in gloss or color from the product originally installed. We exclude and are not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages arising out of any breach of this express warranty or any other oral, written, or implied warranty that may apply to your purchase as it relates to our gutter guard. This is your exclusive warranty and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purchase.
We reserve the right to discontinue or change any design or color of any of our products at any time without notice or liability. If, for any reason, the Leaf Deflector Gutter Guard type originally installed is no longer available from us at the time you make your warranty claim, we may substitute another product determined by us to be of comparable quality and price.
Leaf Deflector Gutter Guard is designed to be self-cleaning, and in most cases, rain and wind alone are sufficient to keep it clean. However, there may be some instances where cleaning/maintenance will be required often for the homeowner. We recommend occasional homeowner cleaning and maintenance inspection of the gutter system.
Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Product being used for unintended purposes or in an inappropriate manner
- Panel removal
- Excessive heat or Fire Damage
- Mold or mildew accumulation
- Contact with dissimilar materials
- Damage caused by acts of God; this includes hurricanes, lightning, tornadoes, thunderstorms, windstorms, hail, ect.
- Failure to perform routine maintenance
- Damage or performance failure due to improper installation
- Vandalism
- Alterations from original installation
- Damage caused by roof structure or gutters settling or distortion
- Natural wear caused by weather, acid rain, or other caustic environmental conditions
- Impact of foreign objects
- Products that have been painted or has been altered in any fashion
- Changes in the surface color resulting from chalking, fading, soiling, or staining due to exposure to the elements
- Mesh clogging due to tree sap, paint, tar, leaching roof oils, bird or insect droppings, or any other organic accumulations
